THE BIG ONE!!!

The Queen thoroughly enjoyed her 85th birthday on
the 11th June 2011.

People crowded excitedly as the Queen came into the courtyard. The
people in the front row all tried to break down the gates as gazillions of
soldiers protected the Queen and calmed the roaring crowd.

With his face half hidden under a bearskin hat, rode through central London
on horseback Saturday as part of his Grandma, Queen Elizabeth II's
birthday celebration.

His new bride Kate Middleton-now Duchess of Cambridge-joined the
Royal Family, in a horse drawn carriage along William's younger brother
Prince Harry.

The Queen turned 85 in April, but the people party for the monarch's
birthday is held on a Saturday in June when the weather is better.
The custom dates from 1748.

Prince Phillips amazingly turned 90 on June 10th! Lots of people congratulate
his birthday too.

MOSHI'S TAKEOVER!!

OH NO! We're being invaded by
Moshi Monsters!!!

The creators of Moshi Monsters were debt
and were hanging on a cliff, about to loose
their job. When a pupil at Kings Road Primary in Chelmsford took some cards she had had for years. She had too many so gave them away to some others. The kids were thrilled and told everyone about these incredible cards.

This mysterious girl is called Mione H, (8). She said to Britain's News
“These cards should have been the biggest thing when they were first out! They're incredible, they'll be worth a million in the future”

Unfortunately, two girls at Kings Road and one girl at Newlands Spring have had their
cards stolen. The girls at Kings Road were
called Lily M and Lois O. Lily went to
get them for lunch break and found someone
had been rooting through her bag and a huge chunk
of her cards and toys, had gone. The special
cards were gone and was left with her low scored ones.
She said
“I really have no idea who took them, but I'm going to fund out”. Lois Offori's cards had all
gone but she is building up on them again until she finds the
person who did it.

Luke, Kings Road Primary (5) said
“The website is good, the cards are fun to play with. I
love it on the internet where you can meet friends and
play with their pet moshlings”

WESTON DANCE SCHOOL GET PRACTICING!

The Weston's biggest year EVER!

THE Weston School of dance face the toughest year ever as the children are attempting much more classes. This year Musical Theatre are doing Alice in Wonderland and Ballet are doing the Piped Piper and classes are doing loads more!

The children have got the costumes. I know because I'm in the Weston, tickets are selling madly in public and family. Ballet teacher, Miss Ruth, said
“This is the most brilliant show and they're going to have the time of their lives on that stage. They've been working really hard.” Everyone's really tired. Us ballet girls (6-8) said
“We're all so tired, we've tried so hard for this big show. But when we're backstage we are practising mad...it's really scary”

The ballet dancers big hit was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The ballet class (including me)
were all very excited and nervous when we found
out we were on pretty much every scene playing
the huge role of the seven dwarfs. These girls in this
class are 6-8 and are desperate to top their huge show.

Musical Theatre is mad with work. Teacher, Miss
Jessica is getting the girls to work so hard. Their
class was low on students until girls from ballet
(including me and my Ballet BF Ella) said
that their 2010 big show has pushed them so much
further so joined the Musical Theatre. The class
is doing the AMAZING show of Alice in
Wonderland.
